    Lovegra 100mg

Lovegra 100 mg contains the active ingredient sildenafil citrate 100 mg, a medicine in the PDE-5 inhibitor class. It is marketed in some countries as a treatment for female sexual arousal difficulties, although sildenafil is not approved by the U.S. FDA for female sexual dysfunction and evidence for its effectiveness in women is mixed.

    Description

    • Generic name: Sildenafil citrate 100 mg
    • Brand: Lovegra
    • Manufacturer: Ajanta Pharma
    • Drug class: Phosphodiesterase type-5 (PDE-5) inhibitor
    • Form: Usually tablets or oral jelly formulations.

    How it works

Sildenafil increases blood flow by relaxing blood vessels. In women, it may increase genital blood flow, sensitivity, and lubrication during sexual stimulation. It does not directly increase sexual desire (libido).

    Typical use

When prescribed, it is generally taken about 30–60 minutes before sexual activity, and should not be taken more than once in 24 hours. Sexual stimulation is still required for it to have an effect.

    Common side effects

    • Headache
    • Flushing (warmth/redness of the face)
    • Nasal congestion
    • Dizziness
    • Indigestion or upset stomach
    • Blurred vision
    • Nausea

    Important warnings

    • Do not use with nitrate medications (often used for chest pain), as this can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure.
    • Use caution if you have heart disease, severe liver disease, kidney disease, or low blood pressure.
    • Seek immediate medical attention for severe chest pain, fainting, or allergic reactions.
