Should I take Cialis with food?
You can take Cialis without regard to meals.

Cialis can be used once daily for maintenance treatment of erectile dysfunction and benign prostatic hyperplasia. Take your Cialis exactly as prescribed.
Do not split your Cialis tablets.
What is the usual dose?
For erectile dysfunction
When using on an as-needed basis – Take 10mg by mouth one hour before sexual activity.
Your doctor could increase or decrease your dose, depending on your results.
Do not take more than one dose per day.
For daily dosing – Take 2.5mg by mouth once per day.
Your doctor could increase your dose to 5mg per day.
Do not take more than one dose per day.
For benign prostatic hyperplasia
Take 5mg by mouth once daily.

Do not use Cialis if you have a known allergy to any of the ingredients.

What are the risks?
Cialis can be dangerous for patients with cardiovascular conditions. Discuss your risk with your doctor if you have any of the following:
High or low blood pressure
Aortic stenosis
Veno-occlusive disease
Angina during sexual intercourse or unstable angina
Uncontrolled arrhythmia
Heart failure
Heart attack within the last 90 days
If you have a bleeding disorder or active peptic ulcer, you could experience increased bleeding times while using Cialis.
Cialis is not recommended for patients who have had a stroke within the last six months.
Talk to your doctor if you have liver or kidney problems. They could adjust your dose as appropriate.
Cialis can cause a sudden loss of vision or hearing.
Cialis can cause persistent and painful erections. You could be at an increased risk if you have any of the following:
Anatomical deformation of the penis (angulation, curvature, cavernosal fibrosis, or Peyronie disease)
Sickle cell anemia
Multiple myeloma
Leukemia
If you experience an erection that lasts more than four hours, contact your doctor immediately.
